autolens.twins.TransformationRecord#

class TransformationRecord[source]#

Bases: Frozen

The record a transformation appends to a twin’s chain.

Parameters:
  • name (str) – The transformation’s name, e.g. "Identity".

  • requested (Optional[Dict]) – The parameters the user asked for.

  • procedure (Optional[Dict]) – How the change was made: a "text" description plus any derived numbers.

  • changed (Optional[List]) – The galaxy / component paths that were changed.

  • side_effects (Optional[List]) – Properties that changed as a consequence (e.g. a lensing observable).

  • preserved (Optional[List]) – Parent properties explicitly held fixed. Empty unless a transformation chooses to preserve something.

  • dict (al.from_dict drops None values inside dictionaries (PyAutoFit's)

  • parser)

  • values. (so requested and procedure should not use None)

Attributes

truth

The flat ground-truth parameters the transformation set (procedure["truth"], e.g. the mass-to-light ratio, kappa_s, scale radius, inner slope and dark fraction), or an empty dictionary.

property truth: Dict#

The flat ground-truth parameters the transformation set (procedure["truth"], e.g. the mass-to-light ratio, kappa_s, scale radius, inner slope and dark fraction), or an empty dictionary. SimulatedTwin.twin_json writes them under "truth" so inference can be compared with them without re-deriving them.
